WWE Smackdown Results returned and Sami Zayn was backstage with Kayla Braxton, and he cut her off when she referred to him as a thorn in the side.
He then went on how he never agreed to the lumberjack match where he lost his Intercontinental Championship and listed fast counts and so on before saying he’s going to win it back tonight.
Otis and Chad Gable vs. Dirty Dawgs (Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode)
Gable started if off against Ziggler with Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins giving their own commentary from another room in the facility.
Ziggler went for a single leg take down and Gable reversed out of it and they went back and forth before Ziggler locked in a front face lock for a pin attempt.
Gable reversed it into his own front face lock, and then took Ziggler down with a nifty toe drag.
Ziggler shoved Gable back into a corner, and after Gable hit him with a forearm and Roode with an elbow, Ziggler hit him with a dropkick for a near pinfall.
Ziggler tagged Roode in and bounced Gable’s head off Roode’s knee. Roode hit a knee in the ropes and hit a suplex for a pin attempt.
Roode then locked in a reverse chinlock, but Gable fought out of it until Roode hit a knee and threw him into the ropes.
Gable rolled through a sunset flip attempt and went for an ankle lock that Roode kicked out of.
Otis came in and hit a clothesline and shoulder block before nailing Roode with an exploder.
Ziggler came in and was slammed and leveled with a clothesline.
Otis then hit Roode with a splash in the corner and hit a caterpillar before tagging in Gable.
Ziggler hopped onto the apron and shoved Otis into the ring post, then had his superkick attempt blocked by Gable.
Gable then rolled him up and through into a German Suplex.
Roode then nailed Gable with a brainbuster for the pin.

We came back to a cool video package of how Andre the Giant and Ted DiBiase took the title from Hulk Hogan that led to their match at WrestleMania 3.
Hogan cut a promo how it reminds him of Edge, and how Reigns and McIntyre are both in trouble.
Well, that was very disappointing given that match happened 33 years ago today.
In WWE Smackdown Results opinion, if the WWE doesn’t want to draw attention away from their current stars, then maybe they should stop bringing back part timers to main event?
Backstage, Edge and Nakamura looked like they were having a friendly chat and it ended with a handshake. Could Nakamura be Edge’s insurance policy?
