Right now in Ring of Honor, there is a brewing war between factions. We have The Foundation, Shane Taylor Promotions, La Facción Ingobernables, and now Violence Unlimited. Each group is stacked with talent, and will just keep growing as this year goes on.
The Foundation has got most of the gold in ROH after the 19th Anniversary, with Jonathan Gresham as Pure Champion and Tracy Williams as TV & Tag Team Champion with Rhett Titus. Shane Taylor Promotions have the World Six Man Championships. They are also scouting new talent like O’Shay Edwards to join their ranks.
Violence Unlimited just made their debut last night, and the group led by Brody King consists of Chris Dickinson, Tony Deppen, and ROH original Homicide. They have no gold yet, but give them time.
La Facción Ingobernables Is In Deep Trouble
Finally, we have La Faccion Ingobernables, who still have the ROH World Championship, but lost the rest of their gold. The situation in LFI is dire. They are down one man in Dragon Lee, and just fired their manager Amy Rose after she failed to help keep the TV & Tag Titles in the faction. A team of RUSH, La Bestia Del Ring, and Kenny King is strong no doubt, but they need to regain some power quickly.
Dragon Lee is injured and will be back, but in the meantime they need to fill his role, as well as the void filled by Rose.This is where former WWE star Andrade could step in. He recently asked for and was granted his release from the company. You might ask yourself “Why would he go to ROH instead of somewhere like AEW?” and the answer is simple.
Andrade / La Sombra Helped Start This Movement
La Facción Ingobernables, much like Los Ingobernables De Japón is an offshoot of the original Los Ingobernables faction. That group was started by RUSH, La Máscara, and La Sombra. La Sombra was the name of Andrade down in Mexico.
Andrade was one of the men who started this revolution, and remains very close friends with RUSH to this day. Add in his connection with Zelina Vega who would fill the mouthpiece role perfectly, and that working ROH would allow Andrade to work NJPW? It all works perfectly. He’d boost the stock of La Faccion Ingobernables quickly, and put them back on top.
