When a feud in AEW gets too heated and violent, there’s only one way to close it out. That’s with a Lights Out match, which is what we are getting tonight with Thunder Rosa & Britt Baker. These two have been at each other’s throats for months, with Baker repeatedly trying to embarrass Rosa. Lights Out matches mean no rules, it’s not even sanctioned by AEW. They want this feud to end, and these two fierce ladies will have every chance to destroy each other tonight.

Britt Baker Fires The First Blow In This Bloody War

They’d stare holes through each other, before Rebel hit Rosa with a crutch. Rosa went after Rebel, and Baker hit a spear through the ropes before hitting an air raid crash on the stage. Baker grabbed a steel chair, and nailed Rosa in the ribs with it before taking time to taunt.

This was an obvious mistake, as Rosa grabbed the chair and wiped out Baker with it before nailing Rebel as well. Baker was thrown over the barricade, and sat in a chair as Rosa ran in for a flipping senton. Rosa missed, and Baker took control, throwing her into the stage before setting up a table with Rebel.

Baker stomped the head of Rosa into the steel steps, before throwing some chairs in the middle of the ring. Rosa got back into the ring, and was bleeding. Baker grabbed a cravat and hit some knee strikes, before wedging a chair in the corner.

Rosa would talk some trash before hitting a snap suplex for a two count and then whacking Baker with the chair again. Baker fought back into this one and hit a superplex onto the pile of steel chairs. Rebel put a ladder in the ring, but Baker got a bulldog onto it moments later.

Thunder Rosa & Baker Truly Gave Their All

Rosa hit the running knees in the corner, before wedging the ladder in front of Baker, which was drop kicked into the face. Both ladies were bleeding, as Rosa set up a second table at ringside. Baker would resist being pulled out, before Rosa bit her cut. Rosa took a superkick in response, before Baker hit a flatliner into the ladder.

Baker would go to the top rope, but Rosa met her up top and hit a Death Valley Driver onto the ladder. Rosa would pull her to the middle of the ring for a pin, but Baker wouldn’t stay down. Baker found back to her feet, and hit a DDT onto a chair, before Rosa hit a double foot curb stomp onto the chair.

A sadistic smile came across the face of Baker as this bloody dentist was handed a glove and a sack of thumbtacks. The tacks were poured into the ring, thousands of sharp points just waiting. Rosa blocked the neckbreaker, and Rebel was taken out next, kicked right through a table.

Baker would be powerbombed onto the tacks, and still kick out at two, despite becoming a human pin cushion. Rosa would be taken down into the thumbtacks, and Baker applied Lockjaw, and Rosa rolled Baker back into the thumb tacks to break the hold.

Baker came back with a superkick, before sending Rosa to the apron. Rosa gained control, and hit a Fire Thunder Driver off the apron through the table to win this war. Where does this rank among other Lights Out Matches in AEW for you? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
