If you put them together in the ring, you’re likely to get some magic, and that’s exactly what we get tonight.
Angelico Showing Grappling Innovation
They wasted no time getting started, Angelico quickly grabbed an armbar. Fenix showed he was no slouch in grappling, but needed to use his speed to beat Angelico, twisting and turning into an arm drag. Angelico grabbed the arm again, but Fenix fired back with two chops. Fenix got a crucifix pin for a two count, before Angelico threw a knee strike.
Angelico was blocked, but his height allowed him to grab the arm of Fenix and apply a submission hold. Fenix was sent to the apron, and Angelico ripped some of the medical support tape off his back. Angelico applied an inverted Romero Special in the middle of the ring, before moving seamlessly into a heel hook.
Rey Fenix Won’t Be Stopped
Fenix would slip free briefly, only for Angelico to take full control again by stomping on the lower back. Angelico took a hurricanrana and a thrust kick, before Fenix nailed a rolling cutter, spiking Angelico on the top of his head. Fenix wouldn’t be able to follow up, as Angelico went for the Navarro Deathlock, and Fenix had to go for the ropes.
Angelico would get rolled up for a two count before hitting an enziguri. Fenix came back with a superkick, before hitting a crucifix bomb and Fenix Driver for the win. Angelico has dropped another one, and it’s been a hard time getting any kind of traction. Meanwhile, this is two singles wins in a row for Fenix, and three wins in a row counting the recent battle royale.
