Last week, Don Callis caught Impact Wrestling Preview by surprise when he appeared and dropped a huge bombshell on Rich Swann and the rest of us in a heartfelt speech.
His exchange with Swann is the type of promos we were accustomed to see years ago, and it really tugged at the emotions of Swann and his fans as well as wrestling fans in general.
He told Swann that he was a once a decade talent, but Callis passed him over for a once in a millennium talent in Kenny Omega.

It was a great setup for this week when AEW World Champion Kenny Omega returns with Don Callis.
We expect them to continue building on Omega and Swann’s title for title match at Rebellion. We also expect Swann to appear and possibly get into Omega’s face and challenge him.
This would go a long way for Swann to prove he’s no inferior, but it could come across the opposite and Callis and Omega won’t hesitate to point it out.

Matt Cardona has tried several times to get explain himself to Brian Myers and he hit another road block last week when Myers fully explained himself.
Myers told him that’s it nothing personal, but he came to Impact Wrestling to make a name for himself on his own for the first time in eighteen years.
He’s tired of always feeling like he’s in Cardona’s shadow or needing him to succeed and he then left Cardona standing speechless.
This week, Cardona will have his chance to explain his reasons for coming to Impact Wrestling and his relationship with Myers.
Impact Wrestling Preview won’t be surprised if he says he’s there to stay and he’s fine going his own way without Myers.
Of course, that would be the easy way out and a quick and anti-climactic end to their feud. Unless that’s the plan. We expect a little more, like maybe Cardona challenges Myers to force him to leave.
It could start with him saying he’ll be willing to leave to keep the peace between them, and he’ll then say how he won’t just walk away.
It’ll start the process of setting up a match between them for Rebellion where if Myers wins Cardona will leave, and if Cardona wins he stays and they leave each other alone.
It would be a fun match and possible conclusion to the storyline, and the pair could come together in the future when Cardona is in trouble and Myers comes to his aid.
