I’m your host, CP Bialois, and tonight’s going to be an awesome show with plenty of action and titles on the line in the tag team and singles division.
Impact Wrestling Sacrifice Live Results will be back for the 8 p.m. EST showtime, but until then, which match you’re looking forward to tonight and who do you think will win?
Let us know your picks in the comments below.
Decay (Black Taurus and Crazzy Steve) w/Rosemary Defeated Reno Scum (Luster the Legend and Adam Thornstowe) by Pinfall
Thornstowe and Steeve started it off and Steve’s speed gave him the early advantage as he controlled the action early on.
Taurus and Luster matched up next, and they matched power with the edge going to Taurus early on, but we can’t count Reno Scum out.
Scum managed to get the upper hand on Taurus thanks to some double teaming, and they pushed Taurus to the edge.
Matt Stryker and D’Lo Brown used the various power and athletic moves in this match as a segue to talk about Moose and Rich Swann’s match later on.
Rosemary spit green mist into Luster’s face on the floor to keep him from ramming Steve into the ring post while Taurus continued working over Thornstowe to hit the Taurus Driver for the win.
This was a fun match and great way to start the night off.
Tenille Dashwood and Kaleb with a K Defeated Havok and Nevaeh by Pinfall
This should be an interesting match with Kaleb wearing a neckbrace.
Nevaeh and Dashwood exchanged holds early on as they felt each other out.
It didn’t take long for them to gain the upper hand on Kaleb, but he survived a good deal of punishment to keep the match alive and even used an ankle lock on Nevaeh at one point.
Havok cleaned house, but it didn’t last when Kaleb rolled Nevaeh over during her pin attempt so Dashwood scored the win.
This was another good match, but it looks like Havok and Nevaeh still have a rocky road ahead of them.
Violent By Design (Joe Doering and Deaner) w/Eric Young Defeated Chris Sabin and James Storm w/Jake Something by Pinfall
We expect this to be a brutal match, so we’d better buckle up.
Will Storm, Jake, and Sabin come up with a way to overpower or separate Doering from Deaner? We’ll find out.
Deaner and Sabin started off with Deaner gaining the upper hand until Sabin picked up the pace.
Doering powered through after Sabin has some success chopping him down, and then worked on Deaner when he was in the ring.
Storm absorbed a tremendous amount of abuse but managed to stay alive so he could tag Sabin in, and Sabin took it to Deaner and Doering.
Sabin and Storm nearly had it won after hitting a Perfectly Savage, and Deaner came close to winning with a diving headbutt.
Young put Deaner’s foot on the rope and Jake went after him.
The Referee was knocked out and mayhem ensured as Jake took out Young when he tried to hit a piledriver on Deaner.
VBD gained the upperhand and Rhyno came out and Gored Sabin for Deaner to score the pin.
Looks like Rhyno’s with VBD.
Holds Harmless Match – Eddie Edwards Defeated Brian Myers by Pinfall
Myers paid off Hernandez prior to the match, so we expect him to pop in and Matt Cardona to counter him by coming out.
They didn’t waste any time in slugging it out in the middle of the ring, with Myers gaining the initial upper hand before Edwards turned the tables and they headed to the floor.
Edwards took it to Myers by going after his eye and then knocking him out of the ring a few times to hit a dive of crossbody through the ropes.
Myers took over after taking out Edwards’ feet on the steel steps and Edwards hit his neck.
Myers brought out plenty of toys like trash can lids and chairs, and Edwards used them against him by hitting a superplex on a pile of chairs and lids.
After exchanging blows, Edwards redirected Myers into the ropes and hit a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Myers kicked out.
Edwards went hunting for toys and pulled out a table from under the ring and set it up.
Hernandez came out as expected and went after Edwards, and Cardona came out to remove Hernandez from the equation.
After Edwards hit a backpack stunner through the table, he took Myers’ illegal object he puts in his elbow pad on his knee and hit a Boston Knee Party for the win.
Impact Wrestling Sacrifice Live Results thinks this was Brian Myers’ best match since coming to Impact and we loved it.
Knockouts Tag Team Championship – Fire ‘N Flava (Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz) (c) Defeated Jordynne Grace and Jazz by Pinfall
We expect this to be a goo mix of styles, and here we go!
Grace and Hogan started it off with Grace relying on her strength to gain an early advantage. Steelz and Jazz were next in a rematch of Tuesday night.
Steelz took control for her team after causing Grace to grow impatient, then her and Hogan worked her over.
They continued their run after isolating Jazz, but Jazz fought her way free.
Steelz and Hogan hit Jordynne with some of their best shots, but she kept fighting and nearly scored a pin after hitting a wheel barrow face plant on Hogan.
Hogan fought out of a Muscle Buster and Steelz his a crucifix bomb. Hogan hit a Roll the Dice for the win.
This was a fun match and Grace and Jazz were so close, but Fire ‘N Flava showed why they’re still the team to beat.
X-Division Championship – Ace Austin w/Madman Fulton Defeated TJP (c) by Pinfall to win the X-Division Championship
This could be the match of the night as TJP and Austin are two of the best in the world. This would be a great time to grab some popcorn.
They exchanged holds and reversals to start it off, putting on a wrestling clinic.
After escaping an octopus attempt, Austin thought he had the upper hand and they exchanged more holds.
Austin changed gears and tried to wear TJP down with a reverse sleeper, but it didn’t last long as holds in this match haven’t.
TJP put together a series of moves for a near pinfall, and then went for an octopus that changed into a rollup attempt.
Both knocked each other senseless with big boots, and Austin was the first to take advantage for a series of moves and a pin attempt.
Austin hit a double knee and an impressive flip for the win to end.
This was the best match of the night yet and lived up to all of our expectations.
Congratulations to Ace Austin on his second X-Division Championship win. TJP was a good champion and we can’t wait for a rematch.
Knockouts Championship – Deonna Purrazzo (c) w/Kimber Lee and Susan Defeated ODB by Submission
This should be a hard hitting match as ODB won’t hold back, but then neither will Purrazzo.
This is going to be fun.
After ODB overpowered Purrazzo on their first two lockups, Purrazzo shifted her style and focused on going directly into holds.
It was a dead heat early on as they countered each other.
Lee tried to trip ODB up on the apron while Susan distracted the referee, then he kicked Lee and Susan away from ringside after he saw Lee kick ODB.
Far better than a DQ ending.
Purrazzo worked over ODB’s right arm, but ODB kept fighting as she drew on her experience.
ODB took over after they exchanged blows and nearly scored the win after a running power slam.
Purrazzo countered a clothesline off the top rope into a double arm bar for the submission.
This was a good match and ODB did a great job in helping Purrazzo further establish herself.
Impact Tag Team Championship – FinJuice (David Finlay and Juice Robinson) Defeated The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows) by Pinfall
This is one of the matches we’ve been waiting to happen for a few weeks and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.
Anderson and Finlay locked up and Anderson wasted no time in trying to show Finlay up, and Finlay responded by countering Anderson early on.
Gallows tagged in and rocked Robinson with a series of blows, and Robinson gave as good as he got until he ate a clothesline.
The Good Brothers dominated for a while as they worked over Finley after Anderson took his legs out on the top rope and he hit the top turnbuckle.
Finlay fought back to keep FinJuice alive and tagged in Robinson when e was most needed.
Robinson knocked Gallows to the floor and rocked Anderson and hit a double underhook slam for a near pinfall.
Finlay broke up the Magic Killer, but Anderson nearly had a pin after hitting Robinson with a spinebuster.
FInJuice hit a Hart Foundation finish but Anderson kicked out to stay alive.
They then hit the Doomsday Device on Anderson for the win.
This was an awesome match and we didn’t see the ending coming.
Championship Unification Match – Impact Champion Rich Swann Defeated TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose by Pinfall
This is going to be a brutal one, and to start it off Moose dared Swann to attack him early on.
Moose’s size and strength were too much early on, and Swann had to alter his approach slightly.
Swann ran Moose into three ring posts after he caught Swann midair a few times.
In the ring, Swann tried to hit a move but Moose picked him up and dropped him into the top rope.
Moose continued dominating as he brutalized Swann, and the announcers were talking him up for other matchups too hard for our liking. It feels like a set up.
Swann hit a couple of dropkicks to Moose’s left knee, and Moose hit a huge back body drop to stop his run.
Moose worked on Swann’s neck in his casual style.
Swann rolled Moose up for a pin attempt, and Moose hit a one armed Rock Bottom in response/
Moose then threw a chair into the ring and put it between the middle and top rope.
Swann had another flurry that Moose ended with a gut buster.
Swann hit a series of strikes and kicks but Moose didn’t go down, and he went for a step up moonsault and Swann countered it with a cutter.
Moose kicked out on one. Swann then hit a 450 splash for another near pinfall.
Moose hit s fallaway moonsault slam off the top rope for another near pin.
Swann dodged three spears into corners, and final one into the aforementioned chair and Swann rolled Moose up for the win to win the unified championship.
This match wasn’t as good as we expected, and while Swann surviving makes sense, it just felt like it was too slow and Moose was built up simply to put Swann over.
It’s not surprising as this puts to bed the days of TNA.
Maybe he’ll have another shot ahead, but Swann carried the day and will face Kenny Omega at Revolution in a title for title match.
Overall we loved the show, but let us know what you think in the comments below. And thank you for joining Impact Wrestling Sacrifice Live Results.
We loved being here with you and can’t wait to see you all Tuesday night.
