Cameron Grimes has more money than brains, and last week punched out a crew member. He wanted to pay his problems away, but William Regal had other plans. Regal doesn’t want his money, he wants him in the ring tonight, and already had the contract set up. And his opponent will be the australian powerhouse of Bronson Reed.
Cameron Grimes Doesn’t Get The Easy Route
With all his newfound wealth, Grimes tried to bribe his way out of actually having a match with Reed. He had a deal for Grimes, offering upwards to 600 dollars before being punched in the face. Not everyone has a price, regardless of what The Million Dollar Man used to say.
Reed tried to take him up for a powerbomb, but Grimes slipped out. Grimes went for an armdrag, and Reed stopped him in his tracks before throwing him to the outside. Reed blocked a sunset flip attempt, and just sat on the chest of Grimes for a two count. We’d go to a commercial break, but Grimes would need to step it up to get back into this one.
Bronson Reed Gets Caved In
Coming back from the break and Grimes had stepped it up, hitting a step up enziguri and the standing spanish fly to ground Reed briefly. Reed flung Grimes off, only to have him leap back onto his back and apply a crossface. Grimes wouldn’t be able to keep the hold, but could lay in the kicks to the chest after stomping the hand.
Reed blocked a kick from Grimes, before running Grimes down with a body block. Grimes went to the corner but took a stinger splash and walked into a big lariat. Reed pulled Grimes to the middle of the ring, but was able to wiggle away. Grimes was ready to get the hell out of dodge, but couldn’t dodge the suicide dive from Reed as he took flight.
LA Knight would come to help Grimes, taking Reed off the top rope with a jawbreaker over the top rope. Grimes hit the Cave-In, and picked up a big win! Why did LA Knight attack Bronson Reed?
