Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae are certain to become NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions before long, but for now they need to earn a shot against Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon. Tonight, team Indi Wrestling will be in action, and a win here should get them a step further as a tag team. Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon better be watching closely.
Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell Do It Their Own Way
Hartwell started with Gigi Dolin, having a clear power edge but Dolin had a technical wrestling edge. She’d apply a cravate before hitting a snapmare and a soccer kick to the back. Hartwell fought back with a flapjack and sidewalk slam, but Dolin got the ropes to break the pin.
LeRae tagged in, and took the fight to Dolin but Zayda Ramier tagged in as Hartwell came back in. A student of Booker T, Ramier would show her skills as she hit a big spin kick to the head, getting a two count. Hartwell hit a big spinebuster, before tagging in LeRae. LeRare hit Wicked Stepsister, and Hartwell hit the springboard elbow for the win.
Laying Down A Challenge To Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon
This was a very easy victory, and while Gigi Dolin & Zayda Ramier are tough they were no match for the duo of Hartwell & LeRae. After the match, they’d call out Blackheart & Moon for a match at Takeover.
They’d ride out on their tank after hearing that their titles actually belong to them, but they had no problem turning down a match for Takeover. Challenge was accepted, they’d shoot a nerf dart at their coming opponents, before driving off in style.
