WWE Raw Results returned as Kayla Braxton asked Randy Orton about the strange things that have been happening to him, and he said he doesn’t know what happened last week.
He said he doesn’t know that Alexa Bliss played a role in it.
After the clip form last week played, he suggested that Bliss move on with her life or he’ll have no compassion about what happens next.
Bliss appeared on a screen behind him and told him he’s so silly. She then played a jack in the box and said before she can it back there’s something Randy should know.
The screen went black, and an image of Orton appeared on the screen and spoke with a demonic voice, saying this doesn’t end on his terms and he’ll soon come face to face with everything he’s ever done.
Orton started to choke again as his other visage laughed.
WWE Championship Second Attempt – The Miz (c) w/John Morrison vs. Bobby Lashley w/MVP
After they were in the ring, the Miz asked for a microphone and said they’re all professionals and wanted to talk about his.
Miz said Lashley has waited 17 years to be the WWE Champion, but this isn’t the stage to do it and said they need to main event WrestleMania.
He talked about the weeks they’d have fans yearning for the match, and MVP said they’re doing it right now.
The Miz ducked out of the ring as soon as the bell rang and ran to the back to be counted out to retain the championship.
This is just bad. We know it’s supposed to be humorous on some level, but with the way the show feels thrown together after the opening match this is getting a but much to take.
We don’t blame the Miz as he’s doing a great job. Nope, this one falls squarely on WWE Creative.
Shane’s solution
Backstage, Shane McMahon told Lashley he understands and it was technically a WWE Championship match.
He said they will have a championship match tonight and MVP called him out on it.
Shane said he’ll consider striping the Miz of the championship and giving it to Lashley, and Lashley said he’s rather beat the piss out of him.
WWE Raw Results are curious how this is going to go. It feels odd that Shane might do the right thing, but maybe that’s his current gimmick?
