WWE Raw Results returned as Randy Orton said he’s been privileged to face some of the greatest talent in the history of the sport, but none of them compared to the Fiend.
He said he knew he had to do something to get rid of the Fiend, so he chose to burn him alive and no man could’ve survived that.
He said that was the thing and he was so desperate to get rid of him her forgot that the Fiend is an abomination from hell.
He thought Alexa Bliss’ premonition of his return was fake, but she knew all the time that she could bring the Fiend back at any time.
He said now he knows what he’s dealing with and at WrestleMania he’ll stand across from a sick and twisted abomination but they’re cut from the same cloth.
He said he knows just how far he has to sink to make sure the Fiend is out of his life once and for all.
Bobby Lashley vs. Shelton Benjamin w/ Cedric Alexander
This was announced as a handicap match by accident, but we have a feeling it’ll turn into that before too long.
Benjamin attacked Lashley from behind when the bell rang and hammered away.
Lashley shoved him back and went for a spinebuster but Benjamin slipped free and locked in a rear waist lock.
Lashley fought out of it with some elbows, but Benjamin reapplied it and took Lashley down.
Lashley tried to break the hold and Benjamin took him down and hit a series of knees, and locked it in again.
Lashley ducked a clothesline off the ropes and hit a flatliner and Lashley then pounded on Benjamin before he threw him through the ropes and to the floor.
Lashley followed him out and drove him into the ring post.
Back in the ring, Lashley hit a shoulder in the corner, but Alexander tried to grab his legs then ran off when Lashley came out after him.
Lashley followed him partway up the ramp before he headed back to the ring and Benjamin hit Pay Dirt for a near pinfall.
Benjamin hit a couple of rights and drove Lashley into the corner and hit a running knee and then another.
Lashley grabbed Benjamin and hit a spinebuster and then hit another spinebuster off the ropes.
Lashley then locked in the Hurt Lock for the submission win. Benjamin didn’t tap out, he passed out.
WWE Raw Results are going to miss the old Hurt Business. They were usually the best part of the show next to Alexa Bliss and the Fiend.
