WWE Smackdown Results returned from commercial with this match already in progress, not that it’s a surprise, but it should be a good one. Especially with the Dirty Dawgs and Street Profits on commentary.
They have to play a role at some point.
Gable had Rey in an armbar and they exchanged blows before the focus shifted to the announce table.
Gable put Ray on the top rope and went for a superplex, but Rey blocked it and knocked Gable to the mat and hit a Sitton and a hurricanrana into the ropes for a 619.
Dominik knocked Otis off the apron, but Otis knocked Rey into the turnbuckle as he headed to the top.
Gable his a suplex and Otis followed it with a diving headbutt and a body slam and then another.
He picked up Rey and whipped him into the corner and then hit an axhandle off the ropes.
Otis locked in a bearhug, and Rey bit Otis to get out of it and came off the ropes into another slam.
Rey rolled out of the way of another diving headbutt and hit a dropkick.
Dominik came in and hit Gable with a pair of clotheslines and a hurricanrana before rolling him into a pin attempt out of a wheel barrow.
Coming close
Dominik the hit a tornado DDT off the top rope for a pin attempt Otis broke up. Rey then knocked Otis off the apron and followed him out.
Otis caught him and threw Rey into the barricade.
Dominik hit anther leg scissors to set Gable up for a 619, but Gable caught him and carried him back to the middle of the ring.
Dominik slipped out of his grasp but Gable hit a reverse suplex and held Dominik for an Otis splash off the middle rope for the win.
When asked if Alpha Academy would get a title chance, Ziggler said they’ll talk about it and will welcome any takers any time.
Zayn’s promise
Backstage Sami Zayn gave an interview for his documentary and how they were going to wrap it up bit now he has a match he didn’t agree to.
Kevin Owens came up and Zayn asked him if he thought about being part of it and Owens said he’s still thinking about it.
Zayn when on about who he has interesting in sharing it and Owens asked if he’s maybe twisting reality and that he’s never heard Zayn accept responsibility for any bad things that happened to him.
He then asked Zayn who they are, and Zayn said they got to him and invited him to come to his match against King Corbin and if he doesn’t see anything suspicious he’ll drop the whole thing.
Yeah right. WWE Smackdown Results doesn’t expect that to happen at any point in the near future.
