The re-ignited feud between Best Friends & Death Triangle keeps going tonight. We’ve seen Penta El Zero M defeat Trent? last week on Dynamite, and Rey Fenix defeated Chuck Taylor on AEW Dark: Elevation. Now, it’s time for Orange Cassidy to step up to Penta El Zero M, and see if he can pull a win out of his pockets. A loss here means a straight sweep for Death Triangle, which could be enough to end the feud real quick.
Orange Cassidy & Penta Work Through Their Taunts
OC had Trent in his corner, while Penta had Alex in his corner. Alex was crucial in Penta’s last win when he smacked Trent with a microphone, but this week, they just want to beat OC to a pulp. OC wanted to put his hands in his pockets, but Penta refused and taunted instead. Penta kept stopping OC from going to the pockets, before taking a minute to pull his glove off and toss it to Alex.
OC was once again attacked with a taunt, and OC took his sunglasses off before throwing them to Trent? Finally he got his hands in pockets, before launching the sloth kicks. OC got an arm drag with the hands in his pockets, before tripping up Penta.
Penta was shocked but blocked Beach Break and hit the tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a two count. A kick to the leg of OC in the corner was followed up an electric chair attempt, which OC countered. He applied a lazy chinlock to Penta, and Penta bit his finger.
Penta was sent to the outside, and OC went for a dive. He was caught in midair and press slammed onto the apron. Back in the ring, OC was stomped into the mat by Penta, but still no pulp.
OC would be choked on the ropes, and this orange was bruised after a hard open hand chop from Penta. Penta stalked OC into the corner and kicked his leg out from underneath. OC was nailed with a running enzuguri, and Penta was in complete control.
An Orange Punch Heard Around The World
But the moment you get in complete control of OC is when he fires up. He’d get the flying crossbody and go for the tilt-a-whirlDDT, but Penta countered into a brainbuster. OC would stay in the fight and look for the Orange Punch before being dropped on his head with a Pumphandle Driver for a one count.
Penta looked for the armbreaker on the Orange Punch Arm, and OC tried to block by putting his hand in his pocket, and it worked! OC & Penta traded superkicks, before Penta hit the Mexican Destroyer, but OC countered the Package Piledriver into the Beach Break. It only got a two count, and Penta would stomp him into the corner.
A running low superkick might have knocked OC out, but he’d count a suplex into a stunner. Struggling to his feet and top rope, he’d get the diving DDT and tilt-a-whirl DDT for the two count.
Alex grabbed the microphone to distracted OC, but OC yanked him into the ring. Penta tried to take advantage, but Trent slipped OC the microphone to up the power of the Orange Punch for the win! What is next for this feud? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
