Demi Lovato has revealed that she is happy remaining single in the aftermath of her well-publicised drug problems.

The singer had notoriously been taken to hospital after going unconscious following an overdose. She admitted to suffering from brain damage, which she continues to live with. That is why her main focus is just on getting better. In an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she said: “I noticed that a behaviour of mine was jumping into relationships with men.
“And sometimes, a relationship to other people, and especially to me, looked like stability. But that’s not always the answer.” One way Demi has found stability has been her drug rehabilitation programme. She famously turned heads when she disclosed that she would continue to dabble in drugs, but only on the basis of moderation.
Fans began to worry, with a feeling that she was merely clouding her addiction. But Demi is her own woman, and that is something she has found solace in. She added: “I found that I actually found stability more on my own. Honestly, I’m not looking for a relationship or something.
“I got needs, and my needs need to be met at some point. So that’s going to happen, and I’m excited for that. That’ll be fun. But in the meantime, I’m chillin.” Her life has been well-publicised, but for all the wrong reasons. Naturally, the singer has become more cautious about how much she wants to share with her fans.
She recently released her four-part documentary on Youtube entitled ‘Dancing with the Devil.’ It was an attempt to share her most intimate moments with her fans, including the night where she had overdosed on drugs. But that process of disclosure has not been without its challenges. She continued: “It’s this delicate balance of how much do I share?
“And how much do I not? And it’s just figuring out where those boundaries are that’s been a little challenging, but I know that ultimately it’s really important to me to be as transparent as possible.” It is great to see Demi moving on with her life, and long may that continue.
