Impact Wrestling Preview thinks this has the potential to be a great match, but since this is the Go Home episode for Rebellion we expect it to be quick with a possible diversion to cost the Good Brothers the win.
Over the last two weeks, Gallows and Anderson defeated Black Taurus and Crazzy Steve respectively in singles competition. They also won thanks to their partner having a hand in the outcome.
We have a feeling things will be different for this match as there probably won’t be any outside interference for the Good Brothers.
We think they’ll come close to winning and be about to finish it off when FinJuice’s music plays or they come out to distract them.
Taurus and Steve will take advantage of the momentary distraction to score an upset victory to infuriate the Good Brothers and heighten their match against FinJuice. Maybe even lead to a triple threat match.
All of that aside, Decay will have a good showing even if they win or lose clean, and it’ll give the Good Brothers another team to be worried about if they reclaim the Impact Tag Team Championship at Rebellion.
Tenille Dashwood w/Kaleb with a K vs. Susan w/Deonna Purrazzo
This is a typical matchup for Deonna Purrazzo heading into a title defense as she’ll watch Tenille Dashwood to pick apart her style to better prepare herself for their match at Rebellion.
It’s safe to say that Tenille slipped in and stole the number 1 contender position in the Knockouts Weapons match at Hardcore Justice, but that’s the beauty of the match’s layout.
We didn’t see this coming, and it’s going to add an additional wrinkle as she’s developed more of an aggressive approach and mean streak in her matches.
It makes her unpredictable, so we expect her to pick up a win against Susan here to set herself up for Rebellion.
However, if Susan turns into Su Yung again, we reserve the right to say “Doh!” and reverse our pick.
Even without Susan becoming Su Yung, this should be a pretty good match as Susan and Tenille have show hesitation at mixing it up when they don’t have the upper hand.
Though to be fair, Susan has gotten far more intense lately. We’re curious to see how her character grows in this match and how hard she’ll push Tenille.
Could Tenille go half speed and lose to give Purrazzo a misconception about her so she can sneak in a win at Rebellion? Impact Wrestling Preview thinks that’d be a pretty cool concept is she goes that route.
