This is the match that’s had the professional wrestling world talking for a couple of months, and Impact Wrestling Rebellion Preview can’t wait.
Scott D’Amore got the ball rolling on March 9 when he announced the winner of Rich Swann and Moose’s unification title match at Sacrifice would face Kenny Omega in another unification match at Rebellion.
Kenny Omega is widely considered the best professional wrestler in the world, and Don Callis has called him a wrestling god every chance he’s had.
Is he really that good? Possibly.
Omega’s going to need that and more as Rich Swann is also one of the best, and he’s going into this match with a lot to prove.

A call for the ages
To add more to this match, Mauro Ranallo will call this match. The world renowned sportscaster will step back into professional wrestling after leaving WWE NXT a several months ago.
It adds a great deal of weight to what’s already been billed as a historical match as the winner will carry the championships for AEW and Impact Wrestling.
There are plenty of ways this can go, and with Tony Kahn and AEW going full heel at the press conference claiming he’s going to have an AEW ref there to ensure it has a legitimate ending we have to wonder.
There’ll be plenty of chances members of both companies to get into it around the ring and backstage as tensions get the best out of them.
End for the ages
As for our prediction, we think it will largely depend on the Impact tag titles match. If the Good Brothers win then Omega will win here, and if FinJuice wins Swann will win.
Impact Wrestling Rebellion Preview doubts Impact will allow their top two championships to leave the company, and given AEW has done as little promoting for this event as possible has rubbed many the wrong way.
We’re going out on a limb and go with some fantasy books where Jon Moxley nails Omega with a Paradigm Shift and Swann will get the win.
It’ll help build more heat between Mox and the Bullet Club as well as allow Swann to arrive at AEW Dynamite and rub Omega’s nose in his loss.
There’s plenty of room to maneuver here, and that’s what’s going to make this match so exciting and possibly heartbreaking for many watching.
