In a post to her fans on Instagram, she let everyone know exactly who was in charge. She said: “Baby girl, you have to look in the mirror. Only insecure people tear other people down. I’m sending you so much love, health and happiness! I’m sorry that you’re hurting.” So when did this all start?
Well, the troll had savagely mocked a series of photos posted by Khloe. The comment in question was the following: “If insecurity was a person.” This has been part of a recent phenomenon in which Khloe was bashed for allegedly photoshopping her photos. While she denied doing such a thing, there has still been some resentment from a particular section of supporters.
At the time of the scandal, Khloe had posted a series of photos after sunbathing. The post was captioned with: “Location: under bitches skiiiinnnnn.” Fans came out in droves and commented at how that could not be Khloe’s natural look. And in another incident, a photo of Khloe in a bikini was leaked which led to more hateful comments.
In a statement in response to the picture, she said: “Hey guys, this is me and my body unretouched and unfiltered. The photo that was posted this week was beautiful.” Khloe is no stranger to criticism over her body. She has had to deal with it from the outset of her career. She had been criticised over her weight and often compared to her other sisters, who at the time were leaner.
And yet, when she lost that weight, she still continued to receive backlash as the public could not believe that it was her. As for the photo, she was very open about the leak. She added: “As someone who has struggled with body image her whole life when someone takes a photo of you that isn’t flattering…then shares it to the world, you should have every right to ask for it not to be shared.”
