At Wrestlemania 37, we have a celebrity entering the ring for a match. This is never a good sign with fans, especially after being burned by David Arquette becoming WCW World Heavyweight Champion all those years ago, or the entire guest host era of Monday Night RAW. Latin American trap music artist Bad Bunny will be stepping into the ring with The Miz.
This is a match which many expect to turn into a tag match which will then include Damien Priest & John Morrison. However, he is currently expected to wrestle a singles match with The Miz, but fear not. Bad Bunny isn’t just coming to collect a paycheck, he’s put the work in to make this something special.
Bad Bunny Moved To Orlando To Put In As Much Time At The WWE Performance Center As Possible
Ahead of NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver, Triple H did a conference call. This was jam packed full of information, from hyping up the signing of Bronson Steiner saying “”Bronson Steiner is a stud, let me tell you that. He’s going to be something special.” and saying fans will be surprised by Omos at Wrestlemania 37. However, the relevant information to Bad Bunny was as follows.
Bad Bunny had actually relocated to Florida around the Royal Rumble, when plans for his debut began. Since then, he has been at the WWE Perfomance Center every single day, putting in some hard work to make this match something special. He has earned the respect of his peers at the PC, which include rookie and veterans alike. Like him or hate him, you have to respect this dedication. It isn’t a simple paycheck for him, Bad Bunny is a lifetime fan of wrestling and he knows how big wrestling at Wrestlemania is.
Having an opponent like The Miz, who is deeply underrated in the ring with his classic heel style should help as well. Bunny has a veteran opponent, and could potentially have Damien Priest in his corner. They’ve likely been rehearsing the spots for this match with him at the Performance Center, and if nothing else: it should be better than his musical performance at Royal Rumble.
