It has been a couple of months since we last saw Keith Lee on WWE television. Many believed that the former NXT Champion was going to be on a collision course with Drew McIntyre heading into WrestleMania. However, those plans changed at some point on the way to Mania, and Lee was left off the PPV altogether.
There had been fears that Lee could have been among the superstars that were let go during the cuts last week. Included in the cuts was the shocking announcement that Samoa Joe was no longer a WWE superstar. However, Lee moved sharply to ensure fans knew that he was well.
WWE News: Lee Assures Fans
Lee took to Twitter to tell fans that he was doing well, and also teased that he was preparing ahead of his return to television. The Raw superstar had been on a roll over his first couple of weeks on the main roster, and even beat Randy Orton clean in a PPV match. You can see his reassuring post for fans below:
I miss you guys, as well as all the others that expressed this sentiment… whether in dm's, tweets, or comments. I miss you all.
But do not fret. I will fight like no other to return…and when I do, we got a LOT of ground to cover. đź’ś #Leegion https://t.co/wqhjwu96tB

It does seem that it will just be a matter of time before Lee returns to television judging by his comments, and that will give fans something to look forward to. Lee could be pushed once again when he makes his big return, but fans may still have to wait another few weeks before the grand return of the Limitless One.
WWE News: What Could Be The Plan?
There is no denying that Lee is one of the brightest stars on the roster of Raw, and that means that he could be pushed as soon as he returns to Monday nights. The intriguing battle between Bobby Lashley and Lee could be one that makes sense, as Lashley has been overpowering all his rivals over recent months, and Lee would be a superstar that he would struggle to dominate against.
It was reported previously that Lee was meant to pick up the United States Championship on the road to Mania, which would have given him a victory over Lashley. However, health problems meant that this didn’t happen, and Riddle was given the gold. That could mean that Lee may instead go back into the United States title picture and get involved in a short feud against Sheamus before later challenging for the WWE Championship.
