Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and this should be a fun show as it’s Raw’s Go Home episode for WrestleMania!
We’ll get plenty of action tonight as well as setting up any final matches for the Grandest Stage of them All for the Raw Brand.
Will Drew McIntyre survive King Corbin and face Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship and will Asuka and Rhea Ripley coexist in their tag match?
We can’t wait to find out, and we’ll be ready to go for the 8 p.m. EST start time.
Segment 1
Drew McIntyre started the show off talking about his past and how he’s willing to sacrifice everything to win.
Lashley came to confront him and MVP calmed him down.
King Corbin then came out and promised to finish what he started last week.
Segment 2
Xavier Woods w/Kofi Kingston vs. AJ Styles w/Omos
Styles had this won early on when he locked in the Calf Crusher, but Kingston distracted Omos and then ran through the ring to distract Styles.
Woods then rolled him up in a small package for the win.
This could’ve been a lot better, and we assume they’re saving it for WrestleMania.
Segment 3
Braun Strowman cut a promo in a steel cage prior to his 2-on-1 Handicap Match against Elias and Jaxson Ryker.
Strowman promised to destroy Shane for everyone that’s ever been called stupid or were told they weren’t good enough.
Segment 4
2 on 1 Handicap Match – Braun Strowman vs. Elias and Jaxson Ryker
Strowman won after hitting a powerslam on both men and pinned them both. This was an okay match as it was quick but it put Strowman on another level for when he faces Shane.
Segment 5
Miz and Morrison repainted Bad Bunny’s car, then jumped him from behind in the garage.
This is how we’ll get a tag match with these four instead of a singles match at WrestleMania.
Segment 6
Asuka and Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler w/Reginald
This was dysfunction at its best between Ripley and Asuka, but they eventually gained the upper hand before Baszler hit Ripley with a shop block and Jax threw her into the ring apron as we headed to commercial.
Segment 7
Jaz and Baszler won after Ripley attacked Asuka and threw her into the ring for Baszler to hit a running knee for the pin.
We expected this finish and are kinda surprised it took this long. It almost caught us off guard.
Segment 8
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler were asked about their chances at defending their titles on Sunday when Naomi, Lana, Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, The Riott Squad, Tamina, and Natalya stepped in.
Jax pointed out they’re the ones that have to earn a shot in their match on Saturday and she and Baszler left.
Segment 9
Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Cedric Alexander w/Shelton Benjamin
After Benjamin and Alexander attacked Lashley before the bell, Lashley took over and drove Alexander into the ring post as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
Lashley survived a flurry by Alexander to win after slapping on the Hurt Lock, and when Banjamin attacked him to break the hold Lashley put it on Benjamin.
Segment 11
Bad Bunny cut a really good promo about how he loves and respects the business and superstars, but the Miz doesn’t respect him.
They challenged Miz and Morrison to a tag match and they accepted.
Segment 12
Riddle vs. Mustafa Ali
Sheamus is on the commentary team, so it’s only a matter of time until he jumps into the match.
This started off as a good technical matchup, but once Riddle gained the upper hand he grabbed Sheamus’ hat and mocked the Celtic Warrior.
Ali hit a Russian leg sweep on the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 13
This was by far the best match of the night to this point as Riddle eventually won after hitting a Bro-Derek for the win.
Ali put in a great effort and we hope he’s going to get a solid push going forward. The man deserves it.
Segment 14
Drew McIntyre vs. King Corbin
This started off with both men matching each other before Corbin took control.
McIntyre regained control and threw Corbin into the ring steps as we headed to commercial.
Segment 15
This was the match of the night that McIntyre won with a Claymore. While the ending was never really in doubt, we have to say Corbin deserved to win this and we hope he gets a serious push after this match.
He and McIntyre put on a tremendous show and we’d love to see them face off again.
