Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Results!
This should be a fun show as it’s Raw’s Go Home episode for WrestleMania, and we’ll see some storylines finalized and any matches not yet made, well, made.
Let’s buckle up for what should be a fun ride!
McIntyre’s promise
Drew McIntyre started the show by coming out to the ring.
He grabbed a mic and started off by saying it’s five days until WrestleMania and how he can’t think about how unique WrestleMania was last year and once again he’s fighting for the WWE Championship.
He called out King Corbin by switching his focus to Bobby Lashley and guaranteed their match will be happening and he can’t wait.
He’s been thinking about all their years and hwo they’re paralleled each other and realized what separates them is sacrifice, and how much McIntyre is willing to sacrifice.
McIntyre pointed out that while Lashley can go home when the traveling’s done, he can’t. He left his family behind when he was 22 years old and was here when his mother had leukemia.
He wanted to go see her and she told him through Skype to keep fighting for his dream and he said he did that.
He was fired, kept fighting, and came back. He asked Lashley how he can beat a man that’s willing to sacrifice everything.
He promised that he can’t be beaten and he’ll tear through Corbin and end the Almighty Era.
Bobby Lashley came out with MVP and interrupted McIntyre by asking if he’s done yet as everyone keeps hearing him go on about last year.
Lashley said he gets it, but only one of them can be on top. McIntyre was great, but his time is over and it’s the era of the Almighty.
He said everyone in the locker room is afraid of McInytre, but he saw fear in McIntyre’s eyes last week and felt him quiver and pass out.
McIntyre called him out for calling for help to take him out.
Lashley said he doesn’t need help and McInytre challenged him to face him tonight and MVP stepped in and cooled Lashley off.
MVP said their date is on Saturday, and McInytre will lose his dignity, consciousness, and the WWE Championship.
McIntyre promised to run Lashley down at Mania and get back his championship.
MVP pointed out that’s a lot of tough talk considering he might not even make it to WrestleMania.
King Corbin came out and said he agrees with MVP about him not making it to WrestleMania. He added that last week he started it and he’ll finish it tonight.
He told McIntyre said there is no WrestleMania and WWE Championship in McIntyre’s future, and that he’ll whip Corbin’s a$$.
This is a match WWE Raw Results expect McIntyre to win, but we’ll see.
Backstage, Riddle scared the New Day and said it’s messed up what Omos did to them last week.
He said Omos’ power level has to be 9000, and he told Kingston that he never saw him get the high before, then asked Xavier Woods if he thinks Omos will get both of them that high.
The New Day agreed they hope nobody gets that high, and Kingston switched the discussion to them retaining the tag team championships, and Woods mentioned Riddle’s match against Mustafa Ali tonight.
Xavier Woods w/Kofi Kingston vs. AJ Styles w/Omos
Styles caught Woods with a right and beat him down in the corner, then hit a hip toss off the ropes.
Woods responded with a series of rights and backed Styles into the ropes.
Styles pushed him away, the rolled him up to lock in the Calf Crusher. Kingston grabbed a mic and challenged Omos and threw the mic into him.
Omos went after him and Kingston ran through the ring to break Styles’ hold on Woods.
When he turned around Woods rolled Styles up in a small package for the win.
This was a weak ending to put momentum behind the New Day, and we assume they’re saving the good stuff for WrestleMania so Omos can dominate and win the tag titles.
Backstage, Bad Bunny and Damian Priest arrived, and Braun Strowman was heading to the ring for hit match as WWE Raw Results headed to commercial.
