WWE Raw Results returned as they started it off with a lockup and Riddle locked in a rear waist lock, but Orton got to the ropes to break the hold.
Orton then locked in a side headlock and Riddle reversed it, but Orton hit with a couple of knees.
Riddle countered a suplex attempt into a sleeper hold until Orton grabbed Riddle’s hair to pull him off his back.
Riddle slapped on the sleeper again, and Orton backed into a corner, but Riddle locked it in a third time.
Orton dropped onto his back to break the hold, but Riddle locked it in again and Orton rolled to the ropes and not the floor.
Riddle leaped on the apron and went for his running kick, but Orton caught him and slammed him on the apron, then suplexed him onto the announce desk as we headed to commercial.
Orton takes control
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring with Orton hitting the Orton Stomp on Riddle’s feet.
Orton then raked Riddle’s eyes with his boot laces, and choked him out on the ropes.
Riddle with hit a couple of chops and forearms, but Orton shoved him into the ropes and hit a power slam for a near pinfall.
Orton hit a vertical suplex and hit an uppercut, then slammed Riddle’s face in a turnbuckle before Riddle fought back.
Orton poked him in the eye to regain control. Riddle hit a handful of chops in the corner, and Riddle returned the favor as he backed Orton not the other corner.
Orton reversed a whip and sent Riddle chest first into the turnbuckle.
Orton then dragged him to the middle of the ring for a near pinfall.
Orton locked in a rear chin lock to grind him down while he berated Riddle.
Riddle fought to his feet, but Orton hit with a knee and uppercut. Riddle dodged his charge in the corner and Orton hit the ring post with his shoulder.
Never saw it coming
Riddle hit a boot, then a Pele Kick after ducking a clothesline.
Riddle hit two flying elbows, but Orton fought out of his exploder attempt.
Riddle swept his legs and hit a BroTon for a near pinfall, then headed to the top rope but Orton caught him.
Riddle hammered away on the top rope, but Orton raked his eyes and hit a superplex for another near pinfall.
Riddle locked in a triangle over the top rope, and Orton caught him with a kick in the ropes and a draping DDT.
Orton readied to hit an RKP, but Riddle countered it with a crucifix for the win.
This was a surprise. WWE Raw Results didn’t see this coming at all.
Sheamus plays Pearce’s game
Sheamus entered Pearce’s office and said he heard he wanted to see him.
Pearce told him he wanted to congratulate him on winning the United States Championship and Sheamus said he invited him for something more than shining his ego.
Pearce told him he’ll be a great champion and compared him to John Cena, and Sheamus called him out for wanting him to do an open challenge, then agreed to do just that.
WWE Raw Results may be wrong, but this could be fun.
