WWE Raw Results (4/5) – Drew McIntyre Defeated King Corbin by Pinfall

WWE Raw Results returned as McIntyre was asked if he feels threatened by King Corbin taking Lashley’s bounty, and McIntyre said he’d think someone with a large melon head would be smart enough not to do it.

He understands he’s trying take the opportunity, and McIntyre said it’ll be the same story with a Claymore between the eyes and he’ll head to WrestleMania.

This should be a good match if they’re allowed to max out their time, so we’re crossing our fingers.

Backstage, Bobby Lashley was asked who he’d rather face between McIntyre and Corbin, and he said he’d love to face McIntyre.

Back to the ring, MVP joined the commentary team. Of course, he did.

Corbin and McIntyre locked up and they jockeyed for position before finally breaking it in the middle of the ring.

Another lockup followed and Corbin went behind and then slapped on a side headlock.

McIntyre threw him into the ropes and ate a shoulder block.

McIntyre went behind and Corbin powered out of it but McIntyre locked in a side headlock.

Corbin backed him into the ropes to break the hold and hit a right to McIntyre’s midsection. McIntyre then hit a shoulder block off the ropes and Corbin slipped to the floor.

Back in the ring, Corbin backed him into a corner and hit a series of rights. McIntyre landed a few rights of his own and then a reverse elbow for a pin attempt.

McIntyre stomped Corbin and hit a snap suplex for a pin attempt.

McIntyre hit a chop and then a right before Corbin reversed a whip into the corner.

McIntyre sidestepped his charge, so Corbin slid under the ropes and back in to catch McIntyre with a clothesline for a pin attempt.

Corbin then choked McIntyre out on the ropes and then a series of rights and stomps. Corbin whipped him into the corner and hit a reverse suplex/chokeslam for a pin attempt.

Corbin whipped him into a corner again and McIntyre came out an hit a clothesline and then another before hitting a belly to belly off the ropes, then another to launch Corbin across the ring.

McIntyre hit a neckbreaker and kipped up. McIntyre went for a future shock DDT but Corbin slipped out of the ring.

Corbin took out McIntyre’s legs on the apron, and McIntyre reversed a whip and sent Corbin into the ring post and then the ring steps as we headed to commercial.

Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and McIntyre hammered on Corbin in a corner and then hit a northern lights suplex for a pin attempt.

They exchanged rights but McIntyre came out the better of the exchange, but Corbin sent McIntyre to the apron and sent McIntyre into the ring post.

Corbin slammed McIntyre’s head into the announce table and rolled McIntyre into the ring. Corbin then hit a series of elbows and then a heavy right.

McIntyre fought to his feet, but Corbin countered his suplex attempt with one of his own for a pin attempt.

So close

Corbin locked in a crucifix and hit a series of elbows and pulled McIntyre to his knees, and McIntyre fought back and ran into a chokeslam and near pinfall by Corbin.

Corbin charged McIntyre in the corner, then slid under the ropes and reentered the ring to be hit with a spinebuster and a jackknife cover for a near pinfall.

Corbin drove McIntyre into the corner and hit a sidewalk slam for a near pinfall.

McIntyre countered a End of Days attempt with a Glasgow Kiss and followed it with a future shock DDT for a near pinfall.

McIntyre headed to the top rope but Corbin caught him with a right and climbed up after him. Corbin then hit a superplex for a near pinfall.

They exchanged blows again with McIntyre gaining the upper hand, but Corbin caught him in a Deep Six off the ropes for a near pinfall.

MVP told Corbin it’s about taking McIntyre out and handed him his cane.

McIntyre ducked his charge and hit a Claymore for the win.

This surpassed the previous match as the match of the night despite the outcome never being in doubt.

It was close and Corbin deserved to win, but it wass McIntyre’s night.

Bobby Lashley then came out and stood on the ramp as the two stared each other down.

They should have a great match at WrestleMania and we hope to see Corbin and McIntyre face off again. What did you think of the show and match?
