Ariela asked fans to donate money to support a burn victim and she started another GoFundMe page to receive the donation. She previously raised money for a the woman named Zuleya Tayib. Zuleya was severely burned and sustained multiple injuries while cooking with the kerosene-powered stove that exploded. In November 2020, Ariela set up a GoFundMe page for the woman’s two major operations for “contracture and skin grafting” under anesthesia.

She successfully raised $2,455 successfully. After visiting the woman, Ariela saw that she was living in a very bad condition, and now she wants to raise money to help her with that.
Ariela said that the woman is originally from the southern Gurage zone, but lives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.The woman lived in Sudan and other Arab countries for seven years as a refugee. Ariela said the woman lost her child and her husband has left her, so she doesn’t have a family. She also sells socks from her home because she is attacked by a police sometimes if she sells on the road.

Ariela wants her fans to help Zuleya so that she can see that the world can still be a good place. She is currently raising money “for the costs of changing her bandages, money for pain medicine and itch cream, as well as enough to help her start a new business.” Ariela aslo plans to change Zuleya’s house, so this fundraiser is just the beginning. Zuleya’s house has a leaking roof and she “freezes at night from the metal walls lack of insulation.” Ariela said that she also needs “a new mattress, blankets, and pillows.”
Ariela urged her fans to donate through the GoFundMe page. Ariela said that people that cannot donate can write a letter, draw a picture, or do something else can tell Zuleya that they are thinking about her. “If you would like to consider sponsoring her until she gets on her feet or anyone else please contact me!” she wrote. Fans have started showing their support. The fundraiser was aimed to raise $1500, and $1565 has been raised.
