The Inner Circle didn’t have things go according to plan at Blood & Guts. They failed to beat The Pinnacle, after Sammy Guevara surrendered to try to save Chris Jericho from being thrown off the cage by MJF. MJF threw him anyways, and when confronted last week gave them the chance to redeem themselves. The challenge for Stadium Stampede lingers, and should The Inner Circle lose? They need to break up.
Will The Inner Circle Accept This Challenge?
Ortiz would start up by saying that everyone wants to know what they’re going to do about the Pinnacle. Talk is cheap, he just wants to fight. Guevara agrees, and knows that they won’t be able to rest until they get this match. He doesn’t care if he’s gotta throw himself from the rafters onto them or douse them with champagne over and over, he won’t stop fighting until he gets another crack at them.
Hager also agrees. Since the start of Dynamite, The Inner Circle has tried to show themselves as the baddest group in the company. If they don’t take this challenge, they will look like mediocre cowards. Finally, Jericho would speak. He’s the leader of this group, and is the one with the most damage after Blood & Guts, the choice is his.
Of Course They Accept
Jericho would say that spraying them with champagne last week was to get their attention, because he knows their heads are so far up each other’s asses, that they have hearing issues. But he heard their challenge loud and clear. He is wondering if accepting their challenge is worth it. Hell, Jericho wonders if Blood & Guts was worth it.
Every man who entered the cage at Blood & Guts left something behind, and Jericho might never be the same after being shoved off the cell. His dislocated elbow will get better, but he’ll never escape the mental image of being shoved to his doom. So was it worth it?
MJF scared his family, friends and more who watched Blood & Guts, and was it worth putting his body through that? When he thinks about the revenge he will get on MJF, it absolutely will be. So at Double or Nothing, he will get that revenge because the answer is yes.
