Whelp, WWE Smackdown Preview is expecting tonight’s episode to be an interesting one as Jimmy Uso continues to try to pull Jey Uso out from under Roman Reigns’ influence.
To do so, Jimmy’s trying to rekindle Jey’s passion in them as a tag team, so he set up a match with the Street Profits.
This won’t only be their first match against each other, but it’ll be the first time we’ve seen the Usos in action together in over a year and it’s going to be an awesome sight.
So, we fully expect it to be ruined in some way by WWE Creative.
First time for everything
The Usos and Street Profits can’t help but be a high octane, fast paced match that’ll give us something to talk about for a long time.
There’s simply too much talent in the ring to expect anything else. This is assuming they’ll be allowed to have their match without fear of interruptions or games.
We have hope it’ll go the distance simply because Reigns told Jey last week what he does reflects on their family, which to us means he expects Jey’s best efforts and for them to win.
Easy peasy, right?
Not so fast.
Roman Reigns has shown himself to be petty and the only road to glory is through him and the Universal Championship he’s willing to spill his family’s blood to keep.
And that stance may make him to do something to cause them to lose the match to show Jey where his loyalties should lie and that Jimmy dangerous to the family.
After all, their going after and winning the Smackdown Tag Team Championships only works if they’re both under Reigns’ dominance, and even then it’s iffy because he’ll have to share the glory.
More family drama
However this is done, it looks like we’re in for more family drama as the WWE will continue to look for ways to pit Jimmy and Jey against each other.
Reigns can’t afford for them to succeed together under Jimmy’s guidance as it diminishes his power. After all, if it wasn’t for Jey Reigns would’ve lost the Universal Championship at every turn.
Still, maybe the Usos will pull out the win and leave Reigns super mad on the ramp to close out the show. One can hope, right?
What do you think will happen tonight? Will Reigns intervene or will he allow the Usos to do their thing? Let WWE Smackdown Preview know in the comments below.
