Ring Of Honor Results: Rhett Titus Defeats Danhausen To Advance In Survival Of The Fittest

We know five of the six men in this year’s Survival of The Fittest match. Demonic Flamita, Brian Johnson, Eli Isom, Chris Dickinson & Bandido have all won their qualifiers, and that just leaves either Danhausen or Rhett Titus. Danhausen has been on a bit of a losing streak, and he’s facing a rejuvenated Rhett Titus. Titus knows what it takes to get to Survival of The Fittest, as he made the finals in 2010, and this year he intends to win.

Danhausen Has To Be More Than Very Evil To Win This

Titus was laser focused on this match, and Danhausen wouldn’t have time for his tricks. Danhausen was taken to the mat with ease, but got the ropes and Titus allowed the clean break. Titus would block a German Suplex attempt, before hitting a knee buster into a dragon screw. From there, he got Danhausen in a Single Leg Boston Crab but was too close to the ropes.

Danhausen went for a handshake to get a wrist lock, only for Titus to take him right down with a headscissor. We’d see some impressive wrestling from Danhausen as he slipped free, before Titus seemed to effortlessly escape and apply a side headlock. Danhausen got free and countered a flapjack with a dropkick, before being dumped aside with a gutwrench suplex.

Titus would be kicked in the face before Danhausen tried to set up a Tornado DDT, but it was blocked and Danhausen was to be shoved off the top rope. Danhausen got the body scissors to take Titus with him, before hitting a diving knee strike off the apron. Back in the ring he would roll Titus up for a two count, before being nailed with two big neckbreakers.

Rhett Titus Grabs His Ticket To The Finals

Danhausen dodged the running boot in the corner, before grabbing a small package for a two count. Titus was hit with a Northern Lights Suplex, and Danhausen was getting very serious. He’d hit a strike in the corner, before looking for the German Suplex to no success before nailing a codebreaker.

Danhausen tried to get Titus up for Goodnight Hausen but had his ankle picked. Titus was unable to follow up and was hit by a German Suplex, for another near fall. Danhausen was hit with a belly to belly suplex and got a two count. A dropkick to the face likely turned the lights of Danhausen out, but two big boots in the corner would all but seal the deal. A swinging Full Nelson into the Camel Clutch would close this one out for Titus.

The finals for Survival of the Fittest is set, and next week on ROH TV we see Demonic Flamita, Brian Johnson, Eli Isom, Chris Dickinson, Bandido & Rhett Titus battle for a title shot. Who will survive? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
