Eddie Alvarez, former UFC and Bellator champion, now a fighter for the Asian promotion One Championship, swept the professional fighters who are challenging MMA fighters.
Eddie had a sensational career within the best companies in the United States, being champion in both. He is also considered one of the most respected fighters of all time in MMA. Although Alvarez is recognized for his excellent boxing skills inside the cage, he has not been one of the MMA fighters trying to make the transition to boxing. And based on his social media posts, it doesn’t appear Alvarez has any interest in boxing anytime soon.
Eddie Alvarez explodes against boxers and defends MMA
On his Twitter account, Alvarez blasted boxers who are challenging MMA fighters and sent them a subtle message.
We fight in rings ,cages ,circles and mats … Anywhere is just fine for us …. But We Really Fight !!! If you let 10 boxers out in a cell and 10 mma fighters Whose gonna live and whose gonna Die … Case closed . Take your gloves and shoes and shove them Up Your Ass !! pic.twitter.com/I4ZDZDUOAM

Clearly, Eddie Alvarez is not a fan of the new trend of MMA fighters fighting boxers. However, there seems to be a lot of demand to see these types of shows between fighters right now. Now we’ll see another such display when Jake Paul takes on Tyron Woodley on August 28.
Do you agree with Eddie Alvarez, do you agree that MMA fighters are looking for a big paycheck outside of the cage, what matters more: legacy or money? There are a lot of questions that can be asked about this, and we’d love to hear your opinion.
