Last week on AEW Dynamite, MJF beat Chris Jericho. There wasn’t many tricks used, he just beat the legend down and focused on the hurt arm to make him submit with the Salt of The Earth armbar. While this wasn’t a career threatening match, the leader of The Inner Circle will take to the ring tonight to let AEW fans know what exactly could be next for him.
Not Able To Enjoy The Biggest Week In AEW History
After taking in the massive fan reception, Jericho would get moving. This is one of the biggest weeks in AEW history, with everyone celebrating… except Jericho. Because last week, he failed to beat MJF. He lost for the third time to MJF. Even worse, he tapped out. This is a loss that has really stuck with him because he’s Chris Jericho. He’s always strived to keep getting better, and he was ready to go through hell to get that match because that’s what he does.
But the fact that he failed to beat MJF has driven him crazy over the past week. He couldn’t beat MJF. However, he knows that this isn’t over. He will attack MJF anywhere he’s able until this is over. Jericho has a proposal on how to end this, and would welcome MJF down to the ring. MJF would be a no-show.
Chris Jericho Offers His Career For One More Match
Jericho wants one more match with MJF. At All Out on September 5th, he wants MJF again. The stipulation is simple. If he can’t beat MJF, he doesn’t belong in AEW anymore. Maybe he doesn’t even belong in a wrestling ring, let alone to be Le Champion. So if MJF beats Jericho, he will never wrestle in AEW again. He’ll go to the commentary desk and that’ll be that.
MJF would finally come out and see right through the plan of Jericho. He saw the rise of MJF, and has hitched himself to him. MJF is sick of carrying Jericho, and has decided that he will never wrestle him again. However, being the man to truly end Chris Jericho? That would make MJF legendary. But MJF wants Jericho to mull this over, because he’s been destroyed by MJF three times. Is he sure he wants this match? Damn right he is.
