Jon Moxley has been eager for someone from New Japan Pro Wrestling to step up to him and fight. He sent a bunch of contracts to Japan, but only got one back. Only one man was brave enough to fight him, and it will go down at All Out on September 5th. But who would be the man who stepped up?
Jon Moxley To Face Satoshi Kojima On September 5th
However, it wouldn’t be Hiroshi Tanahashi like Moxley was hoping. It’s not Jay White, nor is it Will Ospreay. Instead, it’s a legend who has been having one of the biggest years of his career, Satoshi Kojima. Kojima has won every belt there is to win in Japan, a legend of NJPW & AJPW, but Moxley isn’t going to show respect in the ring.
He’ll show it before, and after, but in the ring he will look to tear Kojima apart. It will be the public execution of Kojima on September 5th, as Moxley will look to break him down to send a message to NJPW. This is another tour for Kojima, who was around with Impact Wrestling earlier this year, but this will be one of his biggest matches in America ever.
Speaking Of Public Executions – Brock Anderson Enter The House Of Malakai Black
In the debut match of Malakai Black in AEW, he tore through Cody Rhodes like only Mr. Brodie Lee has done previously. It really only took one quick kick to knock The American Nightmare potentially into retirement. However, that was only the start. His next target is the son of Arn Anderson, Brock Anderson. Brock will have to face Black in just his second match ever, and even a miracle might not be able to save him.
The entrance of Black alone is enough to leave most men shaking in their boots, but Andersons are built different. He’d rush into a double leg to take Black down. Black nailed a jumping knee, and beat Brock into the corner. He had a chance to leave with his head, but Brock wouldn’t take anything like that. Arn refused to throw the towel in, and Black nailed an exploder suplex.
Black Mass would take Brock out, and you could count all the way to All Out and it would still pin. After the match, Arn took the ring and Black grabbed a chair. Black threw a testing Black Mess and Arn blocked, only to be hit low and taken out with a second. Lee Johnson confronted Black as the show came to an end, and Black wouldn’t take a third head today.
Could Lee Johnson be the opponent of Black at All Out? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
