Recently, there has been a bit of a mystery in AEW. This being if Max Caster is actually still in the company after ending up in hot water after going a bit too far with an entrance rap on the 100th episode of AEW Dark. Since then, we’ve seen Anthony Bowens of The Acclaimed in singles action, but as a tag team? They were pulled from the next week’s episode of Dark, the tag team rankings, and Caster is seemingly gone. However, we will finally get answers soon, and Caster will be around in Chicago near All Out.
Max Caster Promises A Night Of Diss Tracks And Answers
There has been a lot of teasing from Caster over the past few weeks, from following NXT on Twitter and selling some of his gear on eBay. However, we finally have a date when we might get answers – that being September 2nd. On that night, Caster will have a concert at Bottom Lounge in Chicago, just a few days ahead of AEW’s big All Out weekend.
While promoting the show on Twitter, he’d say the following “Performing your favorite diss tracks. Plus all your questions will be answered!” Which is promising. Fans will no doubt be asking about his AEW future, and we will keep a closer ear on the situation, to see what goes down at this concert.
Was He Suspended By AEW?
With this being over one month since his final AEW match, it might have been a one month suspension type deal, and him being in Chicago might mean The Acclaimed are back. The only time they’ve cut ties with someone so bluntly was Jimmy Havoc after he was implicated in the Speaking Out movement, and Caster hardly did anything to that level.
Many fans still believe that Caster has simply been doing what he has to stay relevant in the conversation while he was away from the ring. Caster & Bowens are still one of the better tag team acts in AEW overall, being a complete package of in-ring skills and character. They need to really moderate what he says in his pre-match raps however, as shown by this incident.
