‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick the new week off with some fun spoilery goodies.
We’re set to close out a storyline and for a couple others to get a little boost going forward, and we’re curious how they’ll play out in the long run.
Of course, things are never that easy and we expect a couple of hiccups here and there before things tend to work out, so it’ll be fun to see how they work out as the show shifts gears.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 16: Ashland closes the deal
With Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) jetting across the world and leaving his son behind because that’s the type of person he is, Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) will settle his business with Kyle, and we don’t think it’ll be favorable.
In fact, we fully expect Ashland to gain full custody of Harrison because of Kyle’s flakiness.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will probably try to fight for Harrison in Kyle’s name, but he’ll lose. Jack won’t blame Kyle, but we don’t think Ashland will leave him out in cold.
After all, he told Jack he respects him, so we expect him to allow Harrison to see Jack regularly going forward.
One option is Ashland could give Kyle custody, but we don’t see that happening since Ashland wants to spend as much time with his son as he can.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 16: Devon forges ahead
With so much turmoil going on at the moment, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will look to start a new chapter in his life and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think it’ll involve Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
In fact, we think Devon is going to plan his life with her in it and may ask her to marry him.
If he does, we fully expect she’ll say yes. It’ll be the perfect ending to her recently finding and claiming her family.
Amanda will finally feel like she belongs somewhere and it’ll be one of the most touching moments we’ve seen in a while.
And since one of this show’s strengths are mining a perfect moment and grandiose weddings, this feels like the type of thing we can expect in a couple of months once things settle down for a brief moment.
