‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set with some spoilery goodies that have some promise.
Given the show’s in a buildup phase at the moment for the next storylines, we’re curious at the slow burn a couple of these angles are providing and the possible payout in the end.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 19: Victor has his target
Whelp, things looked calm and peaceful between Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), he’s going to risk stirring things up by digging into Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi)’s past.
This could be for anything that’ll give him insight into whether Ashland is playing Victoria or not, and we’re curious what will happen if he finds something.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have floated the idea before that Ashland could be faking, and it looks like Victor is taking the possibility seriously.
In fact, we’re curious what he’ll find because we’re willing to bet whatever he turns up is a high possibility that Victoria will already know about it.
This would cause a bigger rift between he and Victoria, and she’ll already be pissed if she finds out Victor dug around and didn’t trust her.
But this is unlikely since Victor isn’t allowed to make mistakes.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 19: Nick’s up to something
It’s going to be interesting to see Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) up to some sneaky shenanigans for a change, but we don’t think it’s going to be anything dastardly.
In fact, we think he’s going to be planning a special evening for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to help her deal with Summer Newman (Hunter King) being in Italy.
And since Phyllis is so competitive, Nick is going to have to pull out all the stops to keep it a secret from her, and it’ll be a surprise Phyllis will appreciate.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 19: Tessa shares news
To be honest, it’s about time Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) is getting something to do aside from argue with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) about who’s a bigger problem.
And Tessa will understand Abby’s not the one to see and go to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) with what she finds or learns.
What’s curious about this is we’re not sure what she’ll find since we suspect she already went through everything with a fine toothed comb, but finding a note or something Mariah always has with her will probably happen.
It’ll ramp up the tension as they realize she was really taken.
