When it comes to the ROH Women’s Division, The Allure are some of the biggest names they have. Both Mandy Leon & Angelina Love are former world champions, and tonight they are in tag team action. However, they can’t fully prepare for this one, as Vita VonStarr has kept her partner a secret from everyone. Who would possibly align themselves with The Righteous?
Max The Impaler Enters The Fight
On commentary for this match was Chelsea Green, taking an option for a partner away from VonStarr. The former Cirque Du Soleil performer would be joined by Max The Impaler, who is set to face Love in the next round of ROH Women’s Championship tournament action. They are also likely the only person who is insane enough to align with The Righteous.
Love wanted nothing to do with Max, and you can’t blame her. They are undefeated, but VonStarr would start with Leon. A headlock would be applied, before Leon shoved her off and took a shoulder tackle. The flipping senton got a two count early, before a snap suplex into a bridge. Leon would beg off before being dropped again, and trapped in a straight jacket choke.
She’d roll free and hit a lariat before tagging in the seven time world champion. Love would slam VonStarr down before Max yelled and sent her running. VonStarr would show her flexibility with a unique choke, before Love regained control and tagged in Leon. The Allure needed to keep VonStarr isolated, because if Max tags in? This is over.
VonStarr would roll out of the corner and get a tag to Max, who just ran Leon down with lariats before throwing her across the ring. Leon threw forearms that just made them angry, before they hit a huge body block. Love slipped into the ring, and the crowd chanted that she fucked up before fleeing. Max would tag in VonStarr to roll up Leon for the win, as they made sure Love was far away.
Likely to be the weakest match on the card, with Max not doing much, and the match really mostly being a singles match between Leon & VonStarr. Match Rating: 2/5 (**)
After the bell, VonStarr would choke Leon with a chain as Max set a table up. Love was gone, and Max was going to send her a message. They’d lift Leon up and send her through the table. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
