Meghan Markle’s recent behaviour has left a barrage of chaos within the Royal family.
Royal Expert Claims Meghan Markle’s 40×40 ‘Initiative Is Nonsense’
That is according to Royal expert Duncan Larcombe. Meghan’s decision to have her interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS has caused a huge rift. Not only has it divided the Royal family, but it has also caused her father, Thomas Markle, to feel distant. Just recently, he admitted that he sent Meghan some flowers for her 40th birthday.
But given that their relationship has become so strained, he claimed that Meghan did not even acknowledge them. And things have continued to get worse, as he called out his daughter. In an interview with GB News, he branded Meghan’s interview with Oprah as lies.
He said: “No, she lied. She’s changed. She’s not the daughter I knew. My daughter was a much more giving, loving person than she is now.” These rifts have created irreparable damage, despite Meghan’s desire to create some social change.
She recently announced her new 40×40 campaign. This was designed to help women who had suffered from the pandemic make a return to work through mentoring. However, given that Meghan’s own conduct has led to the Royal family being damaged, Ducan felt her actions were hypocritical.
In an interview with the True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat, he revealed: “She has left behind her a trail of devastation, on the Markle side, and now on the Windsor side. I don’t want to see her lecturing young mums having to go back to work from inside her $11million LA mansion.”
Nevertheless, her campaign could lead to reconciliation between the Royal family. There are rumours that Kate Middleton could also join the initiative. If this were to go ahead, then what better way to show the world just how much Meghan and Kate have forgiven each other.
And that is precisely what Meghan should be focusing on. Duncan added: “This initiative is nonsense. She should be spending her time trying to build bridges with the very people that she and Harry have betrayed. That’s what I think most people in this country believe.”
