Royal Experts Claim Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Have No Regrets Over Leaving The Royal Family
That is according to Royal experts Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. The couple decided to relocate overseas and move to California. And with that decision, there were numerous financial opportunities that soon followed.
First of all, they have been involved in various projects with Netflix. Not only that, this was followed by a podcast on Spotify, as well as a huge book deal. This has led them to be on course to become the first billionaire Royal couple.
In an extract from the book entitled, ‘Finding Freedom,’ as printed in the Town & Country magazine, the two experts said: “As difficult as recent years have been, sources close to the Sussexes say that neither Harry nor Meghan have any regrets about the decisions they have made.”
Aside from the financial benefits, the duo have also managed to give back to the community. There were initial concerns that the couple wanted to simply use the media for their own publicity. But with that, they have spoken out on important issues.
Just recently, the duo donated to a women’s organisation in Afghanistan. Furthermore, Harry called on the world to unite and deal with global issues, particularly since he had a connection with Afghanistan, having served in the British Army during the war.
Those efforts showed they were right to leave the Royals. The book added: “[These accomplishments are] another sign that [Meghan and Harry] had made the right decision to step back from royal roles.
“Not only for their family but for their focus on social issues and helping the world.” Although they still face criticism for their efforts, their close friends have praised them for the decisions they have taken.
The following comments confirmed as much: “[Everyone is ‘proud’ to see how far she has come and what she and Harry have been able to build in the brief twelve months of their new financially independent lives.”
