Prince William recently visited the Magee Campus at Ulster University in order to check out a kids farm, and by the looks of it, this will have left Prince George feeling jealous.
Prince William’s Handling Of A Python Left Prince George Feeling ‘Upset’
William, for his part, is known for being very environmentally conscious, which extends to his love for animals. And it seems that this enthusiasm has rubbed off on George, who will have been left envious by William’s actions in petting a python.
In an interview, William said: “George is going to be so upset. The children are not going to believe I did this.” George is known for his love of animals, and this has been helped by William’s activism.
In his recent documentary entitled ‘Prince William: A Planet For Us, All’, William has called on the world to unite to protect the environment and animals. And this issue has equally resonated with George.
The former is known for being a huge fan on David Attenborough and the work that he has done on wildlife documentaries. During the course of watching one, George was pretty upset.
In a prior interview with Sky News, William revealed: “The most recent [Attenborough] one — the extinction one — actually George and I had to turn it off, we got so sad about it halfway through.
“He said to me, ‘You know, I don’t want to watch this anymore. Why has it come to this?” With George clearly being primed for a bigger role in Royal duties, this could be the perfect area for him to get his teeth into.
Naturally, there would not be a lot of criticism he would face because it would be deemed as a noble cause. After all, there is a whole generation of young people that are becoming worried about the impact on the environment.
William added: “He’s 7 years old, and he’s asking me these questions already. He really feels it, and I think every 7-year-old out there can relate to that.
“I really feel from an emotional point of view as well.” It will be fascinating to see how George approaches this topic as he gets older, but with William by his side, there is no doubt that he will have plenty to say.
