Dark Order kind of disappeared from TV since Adam Page left after losing the big 5V5 elimination match for a chance for the tag team and AEW championships. Since then, we have seen Dark Order maybe once, and it looked like the fallout from that match will be the end of Dark Order. With Evil Uno seemingly insulting John Silver and Alex Reynolds, making them walk away.
Since then, we have heard no word of the Dark Order and no information of what is next for the faction. They have been in a weird position for a while, which was understandable due to Brody Lee passing. Now it seems like the faction will be stepping back into the limelight and out of Adam Pages’ shadow, well, half of them.
Split into two
It looks like currently, the faction will be split into two. Maybe with John Silver, Alex Reynolds and Fives on one side. Then Evil Uno, Stu Grason, Ten and Colt Cabana. Where the returning Anna Jay will end up is currently unknown. But most likely with the face side of the split.
This will then lead to some of them helping Adam Page. Most likely, the side with John Silver, who was annoyed that Evil Uno didn’t let them help him. Then the other side run by Evil Uno will be the heel side of the faction split. This will lead to warfare between both sides and hopefully see some of the tag teams grow throughout and be in the rankings.
New leaders
Splitting both sides of the faction seems to be the best way forward as it kind of shows that they can’t run the faction without their original leader. The two new sides gave more opening for different leadership and still respected the Exalted One. It is possible that Evil Uno and John Silver could become the new leaders of both sides of the faction. Both of these are maybe the best in the Dark Order. Making them the new leaders of the faction makes sense.
Adam Page isn’t in any of the factions, but John Silver side will still help him when needed. There may be a Bray Wyatt takeover here for the heel side of the split. It’s likely, though, that Bray wouldn’t want to take over the faction. Having members of the current faction become leaders themself may be a better payoff. There isn’t anyone better to take over the Dark Order than his pupils.
