Damien Priest is having a hard time shaking Sheamus since claiming the United States Championship from him. Tonight he has a chance to finally shut the Irish Bruiser up, but also needs to contend with the daredevil Jeff Hardy tonight. While it’s not clearly stated as an Extreme Rules match, there will be no disqualifications, and a lot of chances for weaponized chaos in this one.

    All Out Brawl

Hardy was taken out of the match instantly by Sheamus, before he’d square off with Priest in the ring. Priest took Sheamus outside with a lariat, before driving him into the barricade. A brawl between Sheamus & Priest was interrupted by a flying Hardy, who would crash onto Sheamus alone soon after.

Priest dove onto them brawling next, throwing Hardy in the ring before kicking away at Sheamus. In the ring he’d hit a jumping back elbow before Broken Arrow to Hardy for a one count. On the outside, Priest was thrown into the ring post – but Sheamus would still have Hardy to deal with. A huge Irish Curse backbreaker made that easier, and a powerslam would follow this up.

Priest tripped up Sheamus and hit some clubbing blows before taking a stunner over the top rope. Hardy hit a dropkick to drop Sheamus, before an inverted atomic drop, leg drop and running splash. The Russian leg sweep would set up a pinfall, but Priest broke it up. A double whisper in the wind would get a two count on Sheamus.

Damien Priest Finds The Winning Spot

Coming back with the Alabama Slam, Sheamus would lose his protective mask before applying the Cloverleaf. Hardy got to the ropes, but there’s no rope breaks in a triple threat. Priest made the save, kicking Sheamus in the nose before being caught with White Noise. Hardy hit Twist of Hate on Sheamus before countering The Reckoning.

Twist of Fate would hit, but Sheamus shoved him away before the Swanton Bomb. King Kong Knee Drop got a two count, and Sheamus flowed back up top… only to take South of Heaven. Hardy broke the pin up with a Swanton, but no one could make a tag. Priest would take a big knee from Sheamus, and Hardy nearly stole the pin. Brogue Kick to Hardy took him out, but Priest rolled Sheamus up for the win.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
