There’s plenty of possibilities with tonight’s show given the recent rumors swirling around one of our favorite wrestlers at WWE Smackdown Preview.
Damian Priest was rumored to be called up to Smackdown last week, and he could appear tonight. The thing is, we don’t know and it appears the WWE may be in the same boat.
There are plenty of rumors that Priest’s call up happened spontaneously and was axed similarly when things didn’t work out.
While there’s no question that more talent is needed on Raw and Smackdown, it’s left us in limbo as to what to expect.
To add more fuel to the fire, there are rumors that Rhea Ripley is also expected to be called up tonight or in the near future.
While there’s no doubt they’d add a great deal of much needed talent and energy to the show if they are called up, we hope he’ll be handled better than Keith Lee, Riddle, and Shayna Baszler.
This definitely gives us a reason to tune in to see what happens. Maybe that’s the reason for the rumors to be out there similar to Seth Rollins returning next week?
Who needs a show when they can rely on possibilities to help the ratings?
Next for the Tribal Chief
We’ve loved watching Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns going back and forth, and we expect much the same this week except now Owens will gain an official ally in Daniel Bryan.
Few can infuriate Reigns as much as Owens as of late, and after the beating he took last week, Owens shouldn’t appear tonight for a match or confrontation, but he will and he’ll probably be jumped again.
This will give Bryan a chance to jump in and help out, giving Owens backup to even the odds.
This will set up a tag match for later in the night (back to the old formula) where Reigns will come out late and Bryan or Owens will score the win on Jey Uso.
Or this is where Damien Priest comes into play as he gets roped into this for one reason or another, assuming he does debut tonight.
On the plus side, WWE Smackdown Preview expects to see plenty of frustration on Reigns’ face tonight as his plans to follow in the Monday Night Messiah’s blueprint get derailed.
This could even be a perfect spot for Seth Rollins to come back for as he could join his former Shield teammate and the Tribal Chief and Messiah could form a interesting united front.
There’s plenty to speculate on for tonight. So, what do you think will happen? Will we see new faces and will Bryan and Owens join up to face down Reigns and Uso?
