WWE has released over 50 wrestlers over the past year, but it has now been reported a massive batch of them have now had their 90 day non-compete run out and are ready to start appearing on other wrestling shows. The biggest non-competes to finish include Buddy Murphy, Braun Strowman and Ruby Soho. Aleister Black was also part of this batch but has already signed with AEW after only having a 30-day non-compete due to the contract not being changed from NXT to the main roster. In addition, a chunk of wrestlers like Bray Wyatt still has a non-compete that ends at the end of October.
Ruby Soho
Ruby Soho has released multiple short videos teasing where she’s going to end up. It is heavily speculated that Ruby Soho will sign with AEW and be the Joker in the upcoming AEW All Out Casino Royale. She will be a great addition to the AEW roster if this does become true.
Buddy Murphy (Buddy Mathews)
There was a lot of speculation that Buddy would continue his feud with Aleister Black. Black in AEW after both short videos are very similar with the same actors and set in the same location. However, Aleister Black Black is currently feuding with the Nightmare Factory members. There are many rumours now saying that Buddy will be going to Impact.
Braun Strowman
Lastly, we have Braun Strowman, another that is speculated to go to Impact. But there seems to be some interest in him going to AEW. It has been mentioned that Braun will give us an update later today, but a set in stone announcement is unlikely. So we should expect him to appear in one of the big companies in the very near future. His price might be a problem for a lot of companies due to his massive salary in WWE.
