Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
Tonight looks like it’s going to be a fun episode with a couple of good matches and a new talk show segment, so let’s settle in and get to the action!
Becky Lynch kicked things off by coming out to give her match with Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules a little more of a push.
She received mixed reactions as fans still don’t know how to accept her, especially after last week’s recap showed Belair had more of a heel moment than she did.
Lynch then praised Belair’s celebration last week while also saying no one threw her a party despite winning the Smackdown Women’s Championship in record time after having a child.
She then did the heel whine about Belair not letting her go last week, and she was cheered as she comes across as a face. She is a natural face.

She added she didn’t want to embarrass her but she didn’t have a choice.
Belair came out to quieter cheers than we’d expect and was greeted with Becky chants.
Belair told her not to mention her family and ran off her reasons (excuses?) for her loss and Lynch called her out because she knew she had a match and then called her out as the EST.
Belair tried to spin it by saying how she showed her strength last week despite getting clobbered, then pointed out she won in less time than Lynch did.
She then pointed out she’ll prove she’s the EST and will win at Extreme Rules.
She then offered her hand and Lynch slapped her and held the belt up. Belair went after her and hammered away.
Lynch threw her into the counter but this time Belair hit the KOD and walked out.
Please switch their roles. This is just painful to watch.
Intercontinental Championship – King Nakamura (c) w/Rick Boogs vs. Apollo Crews w/Commander Azeez

Crews got the upper hand early with a couple rights and a shoulder block off the ropes but Nakamura hit a heel kick and then missed a knee in the corner and Crews took over.
Our apologies. We lost power briefly and our satellite took a while to reboot so our coverage will be spotty for a short time.
Nakamura managed to turn things around and go on the offensive, and after knocking Crews into the ropes he hit a sliding powerbomb.
Azeez tried to get into things as usual, but Rick Boogs took care of him by hitting a belly to belly suplex on the floor.
Nakamura pulled out a hard fought victory to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Now we get to wait to see if he and Rick Boogs will remain together after next week’s draft.
WWE Smackdown Results can’t wait.
