Alec Baldwin’s Daughter Blasts Reporters For Contacting Her Over Her Father’s Gun Shooting Incident
Alec, for his part, had fired a gun prop on set, which was loaded. This was something that nobody knew, and therefore his actions led to the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, as well as injuring director Joel Souza.
Naturally, journalists are wanting to get the reaction of everyone connected to Alec. According to one reporter, they simply wanted to clear things up: “Of course you’re Alec’s daughter, so anything you have to say on the situation would be important.
“I would obviously tread carefully and be respectful of everyone involved. If you want, you can call me.” And yet, at a time when there is a police investigation going on, it is understandable that Alec’s family will not want to say anything that could jeopardise things.
Not only that, but it is clear that Ireland will not want to say anything until she has cleared it with her father. And given that the event has just happened, she will not want to make her father feel any worse.
In response, Irene blasted the haters. She remarked: “To the handful of journalists who have been contacting me, you’re despicable and insensitive.
“To anyone who’s been giving out my number. Please lose it and don’t contact me again.” The primary reason why Irene reacted this way was that she saw it as being disrespectful to the family of the deceased.
Rather than drawing any more attention to Alec, the main focus should be on supporting the victims of this tragedy. And in encouraging others to do so, Irene has taken the steps to let everyone know that she will be there for those who need support.
She added: “My love and support go to Halnya [sic] Hutchins’ family and friends. Sending healing thoughts to Joel Souza. And wishing I could hug my dad extra tight today.”
