Mojo Rawley Set To Return To Professional Wrestling, To Announced Deal With “Three Letter Company”

When Mojo Rawley was released from WWE, no one really thought much of it. He has an okay worker, won the Andre The Giant Battle Royale at one point, and was friends with Rob Gronkowski. That sums up his run in WWE, and why fans weren’t too pressed when his contract was cut. However, now in 2021 Mojo Rawley is giving professional wrestling a second shot – and on Monday will be announcing where he ends up next.

Mojo Rawley Set To Announce His New Home In Wrestling

While on the Dan Le Batard podcast, Mojo would be asked if he ever intends to get back into the ring. Mojo would respond with the following. “Well, it’s coming, we’re working on some things. Actually, I can tell you, come Monday I will be making a major announcement centered around my signing with a certain three-letter company out there. I’ll keep you all posted. Who knows what it’s gonna be. I guess y’all have to see on Monday. I want to get back in the ring as soon as possible. I’m just doing some other things first, taking advantage of this free agency period. It’s kinda — growing myself and my brand every way that I can in ways that I haven’t been able to while I was under a WWE, or even an NFL contract.”

This really narrows things down in a big way. The promotions with three letter names are Ring of Honor (often shortened to ROH), Major League Wrestling, and All Elite Wrestling. Obviously the vague nature is to imply a debut for AEW, being the hottest promotion on the block – especially with CM Punk, Adam Cole, and Bryan Danielson joining up. However, that is unlikely at best.

Major League Wrestling Could Be His Place To Shine

Probably the best choice for Rawley is MLW. They have a strong heavyweight division capped off by major names like Jacob Fatu & Alex Hammerstone. Rawley would fit in well there, and saying he has a “major announcement” could have been a thinly veiled hint. MLW have constantly been on the rise, and with their high production values – getting some ex-WWE names for some hype would really help.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
