Right now, we get a ton of fantastic wrestling every single week. From WWE’s offerings of RAW, Smackdown, NXT 2.0 & NXT UK – to AEW Dynamite and Rampage. However, one show has shone above all the rest, that being NJPW Strong. Once they found their rhythm, they became next to unstoppable – and with the start of their Autumn Attack tour – they’ve reached their best card yet.

Fred Rosser Meets Minoru Suzuki, Tom Lawlor Gets Tested

Kicking off the show was an encounter few ever would have expected to see happen – as the former Darren Young (now Fred Rosser) traded blows with the legendary Minoru Suzuki. Rosser wasn’t intimidated, and went blow for blow with Suzuki in a hard fought contest, only to fall to a Gotch Style Piledriver. Suzuki looked great here, and could be on his way to a shot at the Strong Openweight Championship.

Speaking of the Strong Openweight Champion, Tom Lawlor is looking for another defense as he takes on Ren Narita. Narita is on an excursion from the NJPW Dojo, and learning under Shibata- and it shows. His plain black gear and straight forward striking and submission style are reminiscent of Shibata. He’d take Lawlor to his limits, before having all his limbs caught into a total submission.

Jay White Gets Revenge On Robbie Eagles

In the main event, we had a match with a lot of history. Robbie Eagles is the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and is in the CHAOS faction – but once upon a time he was in Bullet Club. He left to join Will Ospreay, and Jay White hasn’t forgotten this. The NEVER Openweight Champion would look for a win, and revenge.

This was a hard back and forth match, with White using his speed and cunning to break Eagles down. He’d get his leg attacked, including a 450 directly to the knee and the Ron Miller Special – but was able to survive and nail Blade Runner for the win. Afterwards, he’d say that he’s seeking to remind that he leads Bullet Club, not EVIL or Tama Tonga.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
