Last week on AEW Collision – Andrade El Idolo would be defeated by Jay White, thanks to #1 Collision Cowboy Juice Robinson getting a cheap shot in. Tonight, Andrade will look for a measure of revenge as he goes one on one with Robinson here tonight.
With White now taking aim at AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF – Andrade has even more reason to be upset over last weeks loss, and more anger to take out on Robinson. Meanwhile, Robinson is angry after a beating suffered by White at the hands of MJF – making both men fired up.
Andrade El Idolo Gets His Revenge Against Bullet Club Gold
Andrade would attempt to immediately in the match with the Figure Eight Leg Lock – but Robinson would flee the ring. After a quick regrouping session with The Gunns,
Robinson got back into the ring and took a flying crossbody. Not allowing Robinson to flee again, Andrade would follow to the floor with a moonsault – landing on all members of Bullet Club Gold at ringside.
Robinson would distract the referee as The Gunns would get some cheap shots in, putting Andrade on the defensive.
He’d weather the offensive storm from Robinson, before being thrown face first into the corner before Robinson hit the running cannonball senton. Robinson would hit a Frog Splash from the top rope – getting a two count.
Andrade would be taken down to the mat with the rear chinlock, with Robinson trying to force a submission. A dragon screw leg whip would follow as Andrade fought free, before the flying forearm smash.
Andrade was fired up – but the Double Jump Moonsault was met by the knees of Robinson, before a leg lariat for a two count.
Juice Robinson Gets Taken Out
Robinson took a Flatliner into the middle turnbuckle, before Andrade called for the running knee strike. The referee was used as a human shield, before the Left Hand of God and powerbomb from Robinson got another near fall.
Robinson would come off the top rope with a crossbody, but was countered. A Figure Four Leg Lock attempt was blocked by the Roll Up, before Andrade hit the Hip Toss into the corner – causing Robinson to land right on his neck.
Double Knee Strike followed, and The Gunns tried to get involved – but were ejected from ringside. Robinson was unable to get the roll up pinfall, before Andrade hit a big reverse elbow. El Idolo DDT would follow, and Andrade got the win
