WWE Raw hit one of their worst ratings ever in its most crucial demo of 18-49 with a 0.39. The whole of Raw, in general, did not do so well either, with a viewership of 1.593 million. The viewership is getting dangerously low and getting even closer to AEW.
However, comparing both companies may be slightly different this week due to AEW main show Dynamite, stuck on Saturday night for another week. But when it does return to Wednesday night, it’s possible that Dynamite may be beating Raw in viewership in the coming months if this continues to fall lower. However, Raw’s lower viewership can be explained this time around.
Why has this happened?
One of the obvious reasons Raw viewership might be lowering in the 18-49 Demo this week could possibly be its building to the controversial Saudi show.
A lot of fans might just want to skip this period of time in WWE. The massive drop in viewership on regular occasions as it’s soured by the controversial PPVs. It’s possible we may see this drop every year, and it’s possible we might not see them return afterwards.
Massive changes need to happen
There is no doubt that these types of shows do not help WWE in general, but WWE has massive competition with AEW. The problems throughout the booking and the show, in general, is becoming more and more of a normal thing. Recently, we have seen many people speaking about the Queen Of The Ring being very short.
Where the men have extensive time to shine, the women don’t, and frustration is growing. If nothing changes, it looks like viewership will keep with the decline.
