Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results!
We’re set for some interesting action as Day One of the 2021 draft unfolds.
Let’s stop wasting time and get to the action!
Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce came out to start the draft and night off, and their first draft picks are…

With round one concluded, Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman flanking him came out to celebrate his win at Extreme Rules and being chosen number 1.
Reigns wasted no time in proclaiming himself number 1 and told Baltimore to acknowledge him and they did to cheers.

Heyman told the crowd that wasn’t good enough and proceeded to insult them and promised that Brock Lesnar will face the “Suplexercist” Roman Reigns and Reigns will remain champion at Crown Jewel.
Lesnar came out in response and stared Reigns down as he climbed into the ring and then laughed in Reigns’ face.
Reigns nailed him with a series of rights, and Lesnar ducked his next one and hit a pair of suplexes and then took out the Usos.
Reigns went to the floor, the feigned getting into the ring, and Lesnar hit Jimmy with a F-5, then he hit Jey with one while Reigns looked pained.
Kayla Braxton interviewed Charlotte Flair backstage, and asked her how will her strategy change now that she’s on a new roster.
Flair wanted to be congratulations for being drafted first and walked out

Owens went right after Corbin and hammered him down, then sent him to the floor with a clothesline. Corbin avoided Owens’ dive attempt, so Owens went out after him and had his legs taken out on the apron by Madcat as we headed to commercial.
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Owens hit a step up kick to buy some time, then hit a tornado DDT for a pin attempt.
Corbin caught Owens with a Deep Six for a near pinfall, then he and Owens traded blows.
Corbin slipped out of the ring and back in and Owens hit a pair of superkicks and a cannonball for a near pinfall.
Madcat distracted Owens and Corbin hit an End of Days on the floor and threw him into the ring and hit another End of Days for with win.
This was a quick match that felt like it could’ve been more, but WWE Smackdown Results still enjoyed it. What did you think of it?
