Tonight looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as it’s a super-sized edition as open warfare between WWE and AEW appears to have been started.
Without wasting any more time, let’s get to the action!
Edge started the show off and came out to the ring with a strange batch of pyrotechnics that was more sound than appearance with people right there.
He started off saying his and Seth Rollins’ feud started seven years ago when Rollins was trying to use him as a stepping stone, and then now it’s all because of their desire to win the Universal Championship.

Edge then recapped how Rollins went to his home and it’s straight out of his playbook and he should’ve seen it coming. He admitted he underestimated Rollins.
He added that in the ring, Rollins is the only one coming close to matching his intensity and desire. Rollins isn’t Edge Lite, but Seth Freaking Rollins, and it sounded like the fans chanted “Edge you suck.”
The fans booed when Edge said he could go to Rollins’ home and have a moment with his son, but he then said he wouldn’t and he intends to squash Rollins and scar his soul.
King of the Ring Semifinals – Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn
This should be a fun match and we expect both men to leave it all in the ring at the end.
After their initial lockup, the exchanged waist locks and arm bars before Zayn hit a handful of strikes, the tried a sunset flip Balor rolled through and hit Zayn with a basement dropkick.
Zayn hit a clothesline and went for three quick pin attempts, and then choked Balor out on the ropes and then locked in a rear chin lock.
Balor sidestepped and sent Zayn to the floor and followed it with a flip as we headed to commercial.

Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Zayn’s back in control as he slammed him into one turnbuckle, then another.
Balor fought back and hit a Pele Kick to buy some time to recover and regroup. Balor caught Zayn on the top rope and went for a superplex but Zayn knocked him down with a headbutt.
Balor caught his leap with a dropkick for a near pinfall, and Zayn recovered enough to his a Blue Thunder Bomb for another near pinfall.
After hitting some elbows, Zayn hit Balor with an exploder into the corner, but Balor dodged his Helluva Kick.
Zayn knocked Balor off the top rope and went for a pin, but the ref caught him with his feet on the ropes and forced him to break the pin.
Balor took advantage to hit a slingblade, dropkick, but Zayn rolled out of the way of his stomp and rolled him up for a pin attempt.
Balor hit another dropkick and this time Balor hit the Coup de Grace to win and move onto the finals.
