Britney Spears can finally celebrate her freedom with the news that her conservatorship is officially over.

Britney, for her part, had been under the control of her father, Jamie Spears, for around 13 years. Therefore, she could not take any independent decisions when it came to her finances.
Other restrictions included prohibitions on her marrying and having kids, as was shown in Britney’s court testimonies. But this is now a thing of the past, and she can look forward to making many happy memories in the future.
Mathew Rosengart, who happens to be her attorney, confirmed the good news. In an official statement, he said: “The record is clear, the time is clear. The conservatorship of the person and estate [is terminated].”
Following this news, reports indicated that the members outside the courthouse started to cheer loudly. And given what Matthew has said, it seems Britney is now fully in control of her life.
According to the court documents, he had highlighted how Britney was capable of making significant life decisions without assistance. He remarked: “She had the capacity to make her own decisions, hire other people around her.
“We have disputes with Mr. [Jamie] Spears’ counsel, but we agree with their status report on October 20 to terminate the conservatorship immediately.”
Britney was so ecstatic by the news that she could not help but share it with her huge fan base on social media. And who could blame her?
After all, she had been waiting for this moment for over a decade, and now she can focus on building a future with her fiancé Sam Asghari.
They have been together for around five years since they met in 2016, but this is the first time that they will be able to live a restriction-free life.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Britney shared a video of herself swaying from side to side. The post was simply captioned by the following comments: “Finally free!”
Britney has been through a lot in her life, but now she has come out the other side. It is great to see Britney being so happy in her life, and long may it continue.
