Hilaria Baldwin has opened up on what has been an extremely difficult year during the recent Thanksgiving celebration.
Hilaria Baldwin Is Grateful This Thanksgiving After ‘A Challenging Year’
Hilaria, for her part, has had to stand by and watch people criticise her husband, Alec Baldwin, following his prop gun incident. After all, it did lead to the death of Halyna Hutchins and injure the director Joel Souza.
Having said that, though, Hilaria has remained defiant in the face of Alec’s criticism. She continued to post photos online of her and Alec spending family time together.
The most notable one included a picture shared on Halloween, which faced huge backlash as many people felt that it was disrespectful to the family of Halyna.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Hilaria shared a video of her children playing while they were grocery shopping. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Here is Carmen and Marilu dancing in the supermarket.
“I want to tell you all how grateful I am for you. This has been one of a challenging year. I know for many, many of us…but I will only speak from personal experience right now.”
And yet, Hilaria still has a lot to deal with, given that Alec may still face some trouble with the law. An investigation is currently ongoing to determine whether someone is going to be held accountable for the deaths on ‘Rust.’
And given that lawyers have suggested Alec could face culpability, she is not out of the woods yet. However, by focusing on herself and her family, she is putting herself in the best possible place to deal with what may come.
She added: “Sometimes, I didn’t think I was gonna make it through. I want you to know how much you have helped me through some pretty dark struggles.
“Knowing you were there—such comfort. Yes, my children and my husband, my family and close friends have been invaluable.”
Hilaria will need to continue putting on a brave face for the rest of the family, and given that there are still plenty of things that could happen, she knows she has a support network to get her through.
